Teen Clinic allows teenagers to feel heard, and empowered to access a range of services in a non-judgemental environment, respecting their autonomy and confidentiality.
We believe that by giving young people access to early intervention we will have long lasting impacts on many aspects of their health. Such aspects include the prevention of unwanted early pregnancy, the ripple effect of youth suicide, accurate timely health screening, and early access for concerns around mental health. Teen Clinic provides an opportunity for youth to have a confidential chat with one of our qualified and friendly nurses. If their problem falls outside of the nurse's area of expertise they may be referred on to a General Practitioner or other local service providers. Teens may attend Teen Clinic for a wide range of medical and non-medical issues such as:
